Suvi is a client-centred therapist providing counselling and psychotherapy services in Toronto. He firmly believes in fostering nurturing and safe environments where healing, growth, and self-discovery can flourish. Suvi views his role as facilitating conditions that empower individuals to challenge fears, discover strengths, generate insights, and achieve their goals. He customizes and structures his approach based on individual issues, personalities, goals, and objectives.

With over 15 years of experience in mental health and counselling, Suvi has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing a wide range of issues across various mediums and settings, such as online platforms, telephone consultations, and face-to-face sessions in community agencies, hospitals, and private practice. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling & Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto (OISE), complemented by Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Carleton University. Suvi has also earned diplomas in Peace & Conflict Studies and Human Resource Management, along with certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

He is dedicated to providing a warm, supportive, and safe environment for clients to explore and grow. Empathy, compassion, and deep listening are the hallmarks of his practice. Suvi ensures a confidential, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, and culturally sensitive counselling service.

Suvi has specific training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, staying committed to lifelong learning and growth. Suvi is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Canadian Certified Counselor (CCC), maintaining good standing with the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
